Etimologia e pronúncia dos nomes dos Squamata do Brasil. Parte 1: Amphisbaenia

Apresentamos aqui a etimologia e uma proposta de pronúncia dos nomes científicos das anfisbênias (Amphisbaenia) do Brasil. Nossa abordagem inclui nomes válidos de 81 espécies, três subespécies, três gêneros e uma família, além dos clados Amphisbaenia e Squamata. A classe e o gênero gramatical de cada nome também são informados e dois nomes específicos são corrigidos para concordar com gênero gramatical do nome genérico ao qual estão ligados.Referências
